Sebastian Magnani is a Switzerland based photographer known for his intimate portraits masterfully utilizing light and color to create emotional scenes. His latest series “Daily Bat” skillfully captures the aura of the cultural icon Batman, and places him within the context of our normal, everyday reality. The figure Batman becomes a person with whom we can identify with, seeming to sympathize through a shared sense of isolation.
“The Italian Job” is the latest image from the series, taken in 2021 in a Milanese osteria with the collaboration and modelling of designer Tommaso Spinzi. It is printed in a limited edition of 7 C-Prints, signed by the artist, and includes a certificate of autenthicity.
Size is 19.7 x 27.6 inches (50 x 70 cm); it includes label and certificate of authenticity. A black lacquered wood frame is included.
